The Dhikala Zone is one of the most sought-after areas for Canter Safari in Jim Corbett. It provides an immersive experience into the park’s rich biodiversity and offers thrilling encounters with wildlife.

A Canter ride through Dhikala Safari allows you to witness elephants, deer species, raptors, and occasionally the majestic tiger. The route covers lush grasslands, riversides like the Ramganga, and well-known paths such as Sambhar Road, Chaurs, and Thandi Sadak. Wildlife sightings and scenic landscapes make this safari an unforgettable adventure.

Entry Guidelines

  1. Carry valid ID proof – Driving License, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhar, or Student ID.
  2. The same ID submitted during booking must be presented during entry.
  3. Pick-up & drop is from Safari Boarding Point.
  4. Advance online booking starts 45 days prior, subject to availability.

Terms & Conditions

  • Entry permits are issued online upon submission of valid documents.
  • Park authorities reserve the right to cancel or modify permits without prior notice.
  • The decision of the Director, Corbett Tiger Reserve, is final and binding.
  • Permits are non-transferable.
  • Only registered guides are allowed during safaris – no substitutions permitted.
  • Entry inside the park is not allowed after sunset.
  • Day visits to Dhikala are allowed only with a confirmed permit.
  • Getting down from the vehicle during safari is strictly prohibited.
  • No pets are allowed inside the reserve.
  • All visitors must adhere to the Wildlife Protection Act rules while inside CTR.
