Gairal Forest Rest House

Gairal Forest Rest House

Gairal Forest Rest House is one of the most peaceful and scenic accommodations inside Corbett Tiger Reserve. Situated along the banks of the Ramganga River, this FRH is surrounded by dense Sal forests and offers an unmatched wilderness experience. It is an ideal destination for those seeking solitude, birdwatching opportunities, and close encounters with wildlife in their natural habitat.

Compared to Dhikala, Gairal is quieter and less commercialized, making it perfect for nature lovers. Visitors often witness herds of elephants, deer species, and even tigers crossing the Ramganga riverbed. The serene environment and proximity to Crocodile Point add to its charm.

Accommodation: Gairal Forest Rest House

Gairal offers a limited number of rooms and dormitories with basic yet comfortable facilities. The stay here allows guests to immerse themselves in the jungle atmosphere, away from city noise, with the Ramganga River flowing right beside the complex.

Unlike Dhikala, Gairal does not have a restaurant complex. Visitors must carry their own dry rations, which the canteen staff can prepare on request. The simplicity of services enhances the raw jungle experience. Electricity is limited, and evenings are mostly spent under lanterns, making it an authentic wilderness stay.
